DESIGN
A Paris-inspired mink pillbox hat by Jean Nicol New York, finished with a soft brown veil and satin bow detail. The compact 8" silhouette perches gracefully at the crown — the quintessential mid-century cocktail hat.
ERA
Late 1950s – early 1960s. Features the United Hatters Cap & Millinery Workers Union (AFL-CIO) label, used between 1958 and 1963.
CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition. Veil fully intact with one small snag; interior clean and well-structured. Garment tags intact and in great condition.
SIZE & FIT
Measures approximately 8 in × 8 in. Best suited for a small-to-medium fit, designed to sit securely atop the head rather than cover it fully.
